The HTC Flyer – A Truly Productive Tablet

I have to admit, when I first heard about the iPad and how it was considered to be the next BIG thing, I was among those who bagged on it and thought that it was a total gimmick. I figured it was more of a novelty…you didn’t really NEED it because many of the things that one would do on it could easily be done on an existing laptop, but then apps came along. The HTC EVO 3D is truly a beast.  The EVO 3D integrates all of the features of next generation smartphones; namely a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, HDMI out (via USB and DLNA), HD video capture, and wireless tethering (see full specs below).  To put it simply, this phone will come equipped with industry leading processing power and RAM when it ships later this summer. This means that your apps will open faster, your phone will run smoother, and you can play graphically intense games without a hitch.  You can also video chat with your friends and give your computer or laptop an Internet connection when no WiFi is available in your surrounding area.  Yet all of these features can be found on many recently released and upcoming superphones (e.g. T-Mobile G2x and HTC Sensation).  So what is it that separates the EVO 3D from the rest? Take a guess and continue reading after the break.
